The Nuna PIPA infant insert may be used, as necessary, to provide a snug and comfortable fit for small babies. The insert includes a low birthweight pillow, which can be used in the infant insert for even smaller babies, and should be removed once a snug fit can be achieved without it, at approximately 11 lbs.
